Jeffrey Campbell
Jeffrey Campbell (sans photoshop)
“Remember the days before Photoshop? Take a flick through a pre-tech boom magazine editorial and you probably will. There was a bit of flab, wrinkles and funny bottom dimples. Vaginas were floppier and more ‘out-there’. Generally, everybody just looked a bit more… human. American footwear designer Jeffrey Campbell is taking us back to these good ol’ days: the ones where digital manipulation didn’t involve computer literacy, but simply some glue, sticky-tape, a pair of scissors, and an ability to intermingle them all together appropriately.
That’s Lifelounge waxing ‘lyrical’ about shoe designer Jeffery Campbell’s new and notably real-some campaign for his new collection. And I’m genuinely enjoying this interpretation of 90’s snakeskin but I dunno, it’s still only 2010 people!! It’s making me feel old beyond my years! Ofcourse I blame Christopher Kane (*cough*overrated*cough*) for this whole shabang.
